The smattering of images above represents a selection of drawings from several generations of my sketchbooks. The majority date from the last five years, since I’ve lived in New York City: I suppose the Central Park and Times Square titles make that rather obvious, but also of note, Newton’s death mask appeared in the New York Public Library exhibit The Newtonian Moment. That said, the top two images go all the way back to my college days, and the Voyager drawing came about during a rather tedious meeting at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, when I had the opportunity to scrutinize the spaccecraft models in the room.
